Call to Action
The Alumni Association has set new goals to demonstrate a continued committment to the community. Defining Forbes standard practices to refocus and reactivate, this jumpstart initiative is designed to maintain a strong Alumni presence, exercise the talent pool, and support Inner-City Computer Stars. The Alumni Involvement Campaign includes an aggresive plan for giving and will complete it's year-end goals on December 31, 2009.

Defining The Future
Being the change we seek made for a simple plan! Primary methods of giving are identified as time, talent, and treasure. A $25,ooo reporting figure and goal amount has been set for the 2009 calendar year, which includes the total minimum contribution the Alumni Association of Inner-City Computer Stars contributes to the movement of social change and the organization itself.

Results That Matter
The $25,ooo contribution amount is the sum total of donations, pledges, volunteer, and other philanthropic activity to/for any non-profit entity between January 1 and December 31, 2009 performed by the cumulative alumni population. Activity will be converted at a standard rate of $25 per unpaid hour of service to obtain a reporting figure and goal amount using the dollar value. The Alumni Association will be releasing exciting programming the week of October 26, 2009 informing alumni of ways to get involved. See our goals to reach the results that matter:

*TechBash Event (7K) - Alumni Ticket Request Campaign
*Alumni Giving Campaign (5.5K) - Direct giving
*Other giving (12.5K) - Indirect giving
