Microsoft Elevate America

UPDATE: the training vouchers have all been allocated. What remains is certification exam vouchers.
---
i.c.stars is all setup to distribute and allocate vouchers for the Microsoft Elevate America program. Time is getting very short. Vouchers must be activated on your individual illinois worknet account before 10/31.
Here's the process:
1) Create your individual Illinois Worknet account (http://www.illinoisworknet.com/vos_portal/residents/en/Home/setup_accoun...). Choose Option 1: (I am looking for a job, training, and/or services) and complete the process. The process does not appear to work with Firefox browser.
2) Login to your i.c.stars account (http://ww2.icstars.org/user) or create a new account (http://ww2.icstars.org/register) if you've never had an account on our "vault".
3) From your user page, you will see a 'processes" tab. In the drop down list, you will see "Participate in the Elevate America Program". Choose that item and click the 'start process' button.
4) Complete the steps listed in the process.
5) When completed you will be contacted by Faigy (the i.c.stars Avodah Service Corps member) via email when she has allocated the vouchers to your Illinois Worknet Account.
6) YOU MUST ACTIVATE THE VOUCHERS on your own via the Microsoft site using the directions sent in an email when the vouchers were allocated.
7) You will have until 10/31 to sit for the exams
